Visit by Pukekohe Hill School’s leadership students’ to the Veteran’s meeting

The Anzac commemorations are in safe hands if the visit by Pukekohe Hill School’s leadership students’ to the Veteran’s meeting is anything to go by.

The school has their own commemoration followed by all classes doing activities, suitable to their age group, so that they can learn about the sacrifice the service men and women made to give us the freedom that we enjoy today.

The representatives of the school brought a variety of work, covered in their classes, to share with us. They then asked questions of our veteran’s that were asked to bring along their medals and they took a great interest in the cabinets and wall displays within our rooms.

We were so lucky to see how the schools are going about educating the present generations so that we will all remember them.
