RSA Franklin has held their 2025 AGM .
It was a well-attended meeting with a great deal of information shared on the running of the club, a renovation update, as well as the election of officers voted upon.
The main results were as follows:-

RSA Franklin is your friendly local community club. We welcome all members, their guests and visitors from affiliated clubs.
New members are always made to feel welcome, and membership is open to anyone aged 18 and over.
Formerly known as the Pukekohe & Districts RSA, the club was re-registered and 2015, and re-opened with a revamped bar and diner.
Franklin RSA is a member of RNZRSA, ADRSA Inc, Clubs New Zealand and Pukekohe Business Association.
RSA Franklin Facilities
We are a voluntary organisation.
Our operational hours are:
Tuesday: 11.00am to 1.00 pm (Office only)
Friday: 4.00 pm to approx. 8.30 pm.
Light Meals are available on Friday evenings.
We offer light, airy facilities suitable for those who do not
wish to be surrounded by loud noise, etc.
If you wish a venue close to central Pukekohe and to Public
Transport, please consider us.
We are available for hire for Team training sessions,
Functions, Christmas get togethers, Birthdays, Weddings and
Funerals.

RSA Franklin Pipe Band: (The only RSA Pipe Band in New Zealand)
Monday Evenings practice and playouts
On Saturday 16th August at RSA Franklin a very special presentation took place for RSA Franklin member and officer of the New Zealand Cadet Corps, Lieutenant Tony Walker.
The Cadet Forces Medel is awarded to commissioned officers in the New Zealand Cadet Forces for long and exemplary service, requiring 12 years of qualifying service to earn the medal itself
He was presented with a long service medal for 12 years continuous service to the Papakura Army Cadet Force.
The presentation was attended by friends and family of Tony, Papakura Cadet Forces officers, New Zealand Army North representative and Papakura Army Cadet Force personnel.
A wonderful afternoon tea was provided by the RSA Franklin Women’s Section
RSA Franklin Darts Club were invited to play for the Howick Sheild at the Otahuhu RSA. Great games played with the RSA spirit, a great day had by all - expect Otahuhu, whom we won the shield from. We already have a challenge from Mt Wellington RSA - watch this space
